UPDATE:
We have launched the new city website! Our new website is focused on resident services and information with dramatically improved accessibility, search function, navigation and aesthetic design.
Project only took approximately 1 year and was finished 2 months ahead of schedule!
Thank you to everyone that participated in public navigation test survey!
Huge changes are coming to the City of Pittsburgh's website! The city web team is hard at work implementing an entirely new website with an emphasis on city services, citizen engagement and improved usability. We are listening to our resident's feedback through surveys and user testing in order to improve the overall experience.
Our implementation consists of four phases:
Discovery
Design & Development
Educate
Launch
During these project phases, the team works with our vendor building an information architecture, establishes branding, migrates current content while eliminating unnecessary information and builds out the final design layout. The new city website will offer available city services at your fingertips, step-throughs to guide residents through processes and streamline the ability to find relevant content quicker.
Check out our progress on our Project Phase Chart shown to the right along with Key Dates!
