Per the Mayor’s initiative to cut down on monetary and environmental costs of printing, I&P has been tasked with optimizing printers in each department. Doing so affords I&P an opportunity to update inventory while consolidating the amount of machines in each department by replacing outdated models with shareable MFD's
- 16 departments complete as of 5/31/23
- 30 % reduction achieved in: HR, FIN, OMI, DCP, PLI, OMB, MAY, I&P.
- No change in: OCHS, Council, Clerk, Ethics, HRC, CPRB
- Reduction but 30% goal not met in: Law, PAR
- Total Machines at start (to date):174
- Total Machines After PoP(to date):112
